Look around online, call around and make sure you are finding the campground that fits what you looking for. If you want to use what nature has to offer then look for a campground that has no electric hook-ups and is a bare bones site. The best thing that you can do is plan your trip. Plan your route, your destination and your way back. A plan will mean you have something to look at and refer to if an emergency happens.
